Our Cement types

CEM I 42.5 R Portland cement

The cement is characterized by high initial and final strength. The above-average heat of hydration also enables concreting even at low temperatures (around + 5°C). The cement is suitable for reinforced concrete structures, post-tensioned concrete structures, industrial floors and floors exposed to heavy wear, waterproof concrete used in bridge construction, and paving-stone production. The fast curing allows for very early formatting and removal of construction mouldings.

CEM II/A-S 42.5 N blast furnace slag – portland cement

A reduced slag content (max. 20 % by weight) blast furnace slag-portland cement. The hydration heat development is moderate. Suitable for making higher strength concrete, concrete for building structures with sophisticated appearance, iron-reinforced concrete structures, post-tensioned concrete stru-ctures, and paving-stone production. Suitable for large-scale warmer-weather concreting.

CEM III/A 32.5 R blast furnace slag – cement

Moderate initial strength, hydration at moderate heat. Suitable for standard strength concrete, concrete products, making waterproof concrete, and manufacture of masonry mortars and plasters. Suitable for large-scale warmer-weather concreting. Also applicable for preparation of render (mortar and grout).

CEM III/B 32.5 N-LH/SR blast furnace slag – cement

CEM III/B 32.5 N-LH/SR cement is a blast furnace slag cement with a high (at least 66 % by weight) granulated slag content. Furnace slag cements retain the advantages of slag cements, with low temperature hydration development. The slower growth of initial strength and improved volume stability compared to other cements provides more favourable conditions for rapid concreting of large concrete blocks and slabs. The blast furnace slag cement exhibits a significantly higher resistance to aggressive environments (water, soil) and ensures the increased durability of concrete used in aggressive environments.
