About DTG Cement
DTG Cement Kft. was founded in 2005 and it started its activity in 2006. The main activity of the company has been the production of packaged cement, cement wholesaling and logistics activities for 14 years.
Our easy-to-access site is located in a 7-hectare complex in Vértesi utca, Debrecen. Highway no. 4 is a few hundred meters away, while the end of the M35 motorway is only 3.5 km and the highway no. 47 is 1.8 km away.
Our own industrial spur track with a loading length of 2000 m makes possible the receipt and the issue of unlimited amounts of goods by rail, including Ukrainian railway wagon types. Our site is equipped with the necessary material moving machinery as well. Our system for unloading, in addition to the typical equipment used in the European Union, is also equipped with a special deep loading system to accept Ukrainian and Russian wagons making it the only operable system of this kind in Hungary.
Our 5000 m² enclosed/covered warehouse and more than 9,000 m² of paved outdoor storage area allow us to handle a large variety of materials. We have 4 silos with accompanying equipment to make it possible for us to store and handle bulk goods (up to a specific gravity of 1.7 t/m³). Our bulk cement storage capacity is 4,000 tons.
The bulk cement is supplied from the silos to the packaging unit through a closed system with an elevator and other pneumatic equipment. The maximum capacity of the bagged cement producing equipment is 1200 t/day for 25 kg bags. Owing to the investments in 2019, bagging and packaging is fully automated.
We market bagged cement under our own brand name – DTG Cement.
The bulk sales of cement acquired by the DTG Cement Kft. is performed by the KKVJ Kft. which is the owner of the 50% of the DTG Cement Kft. The founders and the key experts of the KKVJ Kft. have had an experience of more than 25 years in the field of cement and construction material wholesale trade. The users of the bulk cement acquired by us are mostly concrete factories, concrete manufacturing networks, paving stone and prefabricated concrete elements manufacturers, powder manufacturers and public utility and road construction companies. Among our partners, there are the largest Hungarian and multinational companies as well.

The cements sold by us have the necessary marketing authorisations, quality certificates and performance certificates. Since it is important for us to maintain quality, we regularly check the cements arriving to our site by independent external quality certification bodies.
The total service capacity of the site is 420 thousand tons a year. Our company group sells about 550-600 thousand tons of cement a year.
The other owner of the DTG Cement Kft. is the CTR Holding Assets GmbH. with a share of 50%. The CTR Holding Assets GmbH was interested in cement production and operated the cement factory in Turňa nad Bodvou, Slovakia. A part of the former specialist staff is employed by the Zeocem A.S company, which was a former cement factory and belongs now to the CTR group.
By keeping the possibility for cement production, the Zeocem A.S. is dealing with the production of zeolite-based products. Zeolite was used in the cement production as an additive, instead of granulated blast furnace slag.
The IT technology and SAP information system used contribute to the transparent management of our company. A small team of staff tailored to the actual demand ensures precise customer service and timely handling of deliveries.
Our strategy is to establish long-term customer and supplier relations, extending our professional knowledge, and focusing on the exploitation of our capitalisation.
Corporate social responsibility is important for us, therefore, we play an active role also in the life of the city of Debrecen and we support the spectator sports by sports grants.
